Another river to look at on our way up to the cave.

After we re-located our rig, we left to visit Minnetonka Cave, which was just about 15 miles away in Idaho. Here are some pictures of the drive up to and in and around the cave.

Our great site with a view of the lake

We had a fine campsite at the park, with great lake views, as you can see in this next picture. But, the next day, right before we left to visit a couple of places nearby, the campground manager informed us we'd have to move to another part of the campground so they could do some work where we were parked. It would have been nice if they could have told us when we first came in! If they had come just 10 minutes later, we would have been gone and we would have been able to stay there, DARN, if we'd only known.

This is the same Peg Leg Smith that has a monument down in Borrego Springs, CA

Here we are, with Bear Lake in the background
