I'd say 90% of the houses in town were made out of logs, probably the most I've seen in one location ever. There were plenty of places to eat, we just happened to get one that wasn't that great. Ron had chili beans and he said the sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce with beans in it. The guy at the table next to us, didn't hardly eat his at all because it was so awful. Now, I had the halibut fish sandwich and it would have been fine if they'd had some tartar sauce to go on it. Well, they did have some, but, by the time I got the bottle, most of it was gone and I just had a token amount on my fish. I couldn't believe that they would sell fish sandwiches without plenty of tartar sauce on hand. Both Ron & I agreed that the french fries, which were probably hand made, were delicious.

There was a general store in town that looked like it had everything you'd need. They also had old pictures of what the town had looked like as the old mining town it used to be. We had a nice time walking around and looking at things.
