There are reasons people don’t update their blog, and one of them is when they get hopelessly behind. Ron keeps asking me, “when are you going to update the blog?”, and I say, “I will” and it never gets done. So, tonight, I will attempt to do something constructive on this blog.
The last time you heard from us, we were in Coffeyville, KS, checking on a campground. We left there the next morning, which was May 28th. The Memorial Day weekend was fast approaching & we figured we probably wouldn’t be able to get into any parks at this late date, so we decided to go visit some bus friends, Gerald & Sue, who were at their daughter’s house in Auburn, IN, where they spend every summer.
We left Coffeyville & started heading right into Missouri. We had very looong day of driving, but, on the way across the state, we saw numerous classic cars headed west, probably attending some Memorial Day weekend classic car bash. I managed to get some pictures of some of them going the other way. Some of them even passed us going our way, they may have been directionally challenged, as the bulk of them were headed in the opposite direction.
