After we got home that day, Ron was in pain. That night, he couldn't even lay flat in bed, so he got up, which was very difficult, and went to sit in his recliner the rest of the night. Gail had given him a hot pad to use, but, he was having hot flashes and since our thermometer wasn't working, I couldn't tell if he had a temperature or not. So, what I did was gave him my ice pace to lay on his back for 20 minutes and he was putting a cool cloth on his forehead. I found out in the morning that the timer I had set, never went off and he woke up about an hour later with the ice pack still on. Oh well...anyway, the next day, which was Monday, Gail gave him some Aleve to see if that would help him out, because the Tylenol he was taking wasn't even doing anything for him. Gail had another therapy appointment in Gardiner, so I offered to ride with him, because I wanted to get some of the medication Gail had given Ron, so we wouldn't be using all of his.
When we got back later that evening, Ron said he was feeling better, so that was a good thing.
Here I am typing this and thinking about the fact that in my haste to get all the wildlife on the blog while we were on our way to Gardiner on Friday, I forgot to put the rest of the pictures on there from that day. So, guess I'll do that...sheesh!
