We have now moved on, we had a really looong travel day yesterday, 35 miles. Yep, we have moved over to another friend's campground, just 35 miles away from Bruce & Kathy's park. We're boondocking here, as there are no hookups, but, we have a great site next to the river. The day before we left Central Ferry Park, Bruce & Kathy drove us around the area so we could see what there was to see. We went to the highest point around, called Steptoe Butte, I think it's around 3,000 feet. From there, you could see all the little towns and all the hills covered with crops. Looking from the top, it looked like we were looking at a giant golf course with really big sand traps, as you will see too, when you look at the pictures. We stopped at Washington State University in Clarkston, where they make their own cheese and ice cream, even the milk they use comes from their own cows. The ice cream was delicious and so was their cheese. We also drove to a viewpoint that looks out over all of Lewiston, ID and Clarkston, WA. We had a most enjoyable day seeing everything.
