The last time I wrote, we were staying with Richard & Carol Lamb, fellow Boomers, in Elk, WA, on their son's property. On Father's Day, we visited with the Whites, who are Boomers also. We finally got to see their house and had a really nice BBQ and visit. They said we were welcome anytime to come stay at their house, too, the next time we were in town.
I also forgot to mention that we had a mini rang with fellow Boomers and fulltimers, some of whom just happened to be around the Spokane area the same time we were. We got together on Friday the 19th at the Golden Corral and enjoyed all the goodies they offered. Joining us were Gordon & Laura Bornkamp, Ken & Bea Marler, Jim & Sherry White, and, of course, the Lambs.
We figured since we were so close to Canada, we'd go visit longtime Boomer, Casey Bot. He lives in Midway, B.C. which is real close to the Washington border. So, I sent him an email to see if he'd be around and would he want us to come visit him with the bus so he could see what we'd done to it so far. He was so surprised to hear from us and said, YES, come up! So, we left the Jeep at the Lamb's and just took the bus up there. We only had to go about 130 miles, so we had a relatively short driving day. The following pictures are of the drive up and being at his house and the surrounding neighborhood.
