We arrived on Casey's doorstep around 1:30 in the afternoon, Monday. He has such a cute little house that he built himself. It has a real nice yard, with room for the agility equipment to run his dog, Amy, through her paces, a couple of sheds for his stuff and a garden. It's not a very big town at all, with just a small grocery market, a gas station/convenience store, a hardware store, a bar and the coffee house. We walked all through the town, which consisted of mostly houses in about 15 or so minutes. The Kettle River runs through the town and it also has a real nice RV park right next to the river.
When we were there, the Good Sam Club was setting up for a rally for this weekend, but, RV's were already coming in to the park. By the time we left on Wednesday, about half of the people were already there. One of the days, we drove around the area, taking pictures of the old log farm houses and barns and even visited a lady friend of his. We also saw a bear nearby walking up a mountainside. We had a great time and hope to not wait too long for our next visit, when we should have almost all the stuff done on the bus by that time.
