We were turned over to another ranger for our trip down into the ruins, I think her name was Ranger Beth, and right at the start, it is stated that all of us needed to be in good shape, if we had heart or respiratory problems, we probably shouldn't be going down there, because the steps going down were uneven and irregular. Also, because of the elevation being 7,000 ft, some people might not be used to that and feel either light headed or ill. I think maybe one or two opted out, but, most of us were game to go down and see what there was to see. She was right, the steps WERE very steep and parts of it had no hand rails, but, there were rocks on either side of us to hang on to, so we all made it down safely...
