Remember when I mentioned that everyone should be in good condition to go down into the ruins? Well, while we were up there leaning into that building taking pictures, I noticed an older man who was hobbling around. Our ranger had to go up and escort him down the stairs and I thought he was going to take a tumble, as he was very unsteady on his feet. As we were walking out, we had to walk up several steps and then climb three different ladders to get out at the top. There he was, walking up the steps ahead of us and he must have made it out, because we never passed him up. I was proud of him!
