I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in that we got our choice of whether we wanted to face the parking lot or the trees...duh, no brainer, there. It was very pleasant, no a/c, but, we did have a ceiling fan above the bed. Ron did manage to see a North Kaibab squirrel, but, didn't have the camera handy. This squirrel has a black body, with a white fluffy tail and its ears are hairy too and are pointy, a very distinctive look. I never saw one the whole time we were there, but, I did see pictures.

The thing about the building that housed the saloon, it doubled as an espresso shack in the morning and then in the afternoon they served alcoholic drinks. There was also a deli and an outdoor bbq dinner held outside in the campground nearby for other choices for eating either dinner, lunch or breakfast.
