The next morning, bright and early, we had breakfast before taking the train ride up to the Grand Canyon. There is a wild west shoot out before boarding the train and Domi got his picture taken with one of the cowboys. Once that was over, we boarded the train for the 2 1/2 hour ride, there were various entertainers on board playing for our listening pleasure, as well as a photographer taking pictures of everyone to purchase later. As anyone knows, traveling with a little one is sometimes difficult. Andrew is used to running all around his house, chasing the dogs and cats and for him to be cooped up on a train, sitting or standing on the seats, not being able to walk where he wants, was a bit hard. But, he did real well until about the last 5-10 minutes of the ride, then, he just let out all his frustrations for everyone to hear.

Working five days a week, we don't think much about time passing, but, pass it has! It's been over a month since I've posted and we've done some pretty neat things since then. First, our kids did stop by for a couple of days and stayed in one of the kabins. We had told them it was going to be farther than their GPS was telling them, but, of course, they didn't listen. They had planned on leaving on Monday morning, from San Diego and come halfway, so they would have been here at a decent time to do something during the day, but, nooo, they left on Tuesday and got here right before it got dark. Even so, we got in dinner, Domi got to ride a pony and we all got to enjoy the ice cream social.
