Our next stop was the fort, with lots of cannons, a church, houses for the soldiers & the armory. As I said, we were in a tour & when we went into the fort, our guide took us into the church to tell us about life in the fort. He had told us he wanted everyone to sit up front so he wouldn't have to yell & guess where Ron wanted to sit? In the very back pew....well, he singled us out, of course, & so I got up & went to sit a bit closer, but, Ron said, "no, he wants us to go up front...", so up we went & he sat down below & I got to stand where the pastor would normally stand giving his sermon...talk about embarrasing....
