Half of our day use park is a frisbee golf course. People throw discs, that are smaller than a regular frisbee, at a metal basket with chains hanging down. I'll be posting a picture of one. These "disc golfers" refer to their discs as a golfer would refer to his golf clubs; a putter, etc. Each disc is weighted a certain way depending on if he's throwing way far away or close up. Some of the "holes" are through the trees, so these people have to get pretty creative in order for their discs to even get close. It's a very interesting sport, to say the least. It's very popular around here, the state park across the river has one, too. In August, the state championships will be coming to our park. It should be very crowded around here that weekend.

Too Cool! I can see you are having a great time! I hope you have a great summer! Things are really picking up here, and we are having a great time. If you know anyone interested - I am in need of a Workamper. I only need 3 days - 4 hours a day - helping with the maintenance and lawncare, nothing hard. XOXOXO, Diana, Gene & Ruggie
