Somehow, again, we forgot to take pictures of our friends, and their house. What we do remember is parking right on top of a bees nest in an old log. All I hoped for was that none of them came into the bus. Our visit with our friends was all too brief, just the one day and night and we were on our way again.

Our next stop was in Merrill, WI, just a short 45 mile ride away. This time, we did take pictures. These friends were people we knew while Ron was in the Navy. Len was Ron's boss while they were on the Constellation in Philadelphia while it was undergoing an overhaul back in the early 90's. Before Len retired, they bought an 80 acre farm with an old farmhouse, about 10 miles outside of town. They have spent a lot of time and money fixing up their house to their satisfaction and they have done an outstanding job.
